Drug testing is very popular nowadays. In fact, a lot of employers have included this in their job requirements. Though not a lot of people agree with this, it is actually very beneficial for the employer and the employees themselves. By undergoing a drug test, employers could initially determine who are using drugs and the specific drugs they are using. Most likely, people who are abusing these illegal substances would have a job-related problem later on and by determining these early on, employers can avoid this kind of problem and move on to other job aspirants who are “less dangerous.”

It could also be a way for employers to pinpoint who are under the influence of drugs or alcohol and how long have they been abusing it. These drug tests could also be a way to determine the people that are using these and help them find a way to rehabilitate from it.
